Thank you to everyone who participated in our PTO meeting on March 19th, Finishing the Year Strong and Summer Opportunities.
This meeting focused on PASS (Peer Athletes tutoring) and many other resources available to students at https:hcpto.org/academic-resources. We heard from Jennifer Lange from COD and Principal Bill Walsh about D86 Summer School, job opportunities at COD, and how to obtain a work permit. Have your students check out the Job Board outside Student Services!
A special committee focus was on Parent Network and their recent Summer Opportunities Fair for students with 504 Plans and IEPs. The meeting also included information about end of year PTO sponsored Senior activities including applying for Red Devil Spirit Scholarships, Panhellenic information meeting, and Post Prom.
If you missed it, here is a video of the meeting.
Please save the date for our last PTO meeting which will be on Wednesday, May 7th at 9am in the Community Room. Mental Health Awareness month!
